Nan Shipley

Nan Shipley spent 15 years as an executive in the film industry, working as a creative executive for producers and studios. She had her own company, GEORGICA LITERARY PRODUCTIONS, for several years, servicing the film and television community as a literary scout.

One of the roles of a scout is to source material for clients. It’s a very similar skill set for real estate—leaving no stone unturned and no relationship untapped. It’s about networking and matching the right people with the right property.

Real Estate has been a lifelong obsession for Nan, and friends had been asking her for years when she was going to make the change and pursue her true calling. Nan and Marty had known and made real estate deals together for years, and she joined his firm as a partner in fall 2006. She hasn’t looked back since.

Nan has three delicious boys, all of whom attend Bank Street School for children. Her husband Neal currently serves as Chairman of the Emergency Department at Jersey City Medical Center. They have lived on the Upper West Side for 16 years, after many years of downtown living.
